Deontay Wilder’s Boxing Career Is Torn Apart And 'Exposed' In Fan’s Viral Twitter Thread

A boxing fan has launched a scathing attack on Deontay Wilder's career in a comprehensive viral Twitter thread.

Twitter user Olufemi Adebimpe came to the defence of Anthony Joshua after he avenged his only defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr earlier this month.

And Adebimpe called out fans criticising 'AJ' and those sharing clips of Wilder's knockouts as a way to highlight his 'supremacy' over the heavyweight division.

The self-proclaimed Arsenal fan tweeted: "Almost every time there is an Anthony Joshua fight, those who have become overnight heavyweight experts from watching clips of Deontay Wilder pummeling [sic] fighters crawl out of their holes with generalized opinions about the supremacy of Deontay Wilder.

"Let me educate you!"

Wilder is accused of hand-picking fights with boxers outside of the top 20 and only agreeing to face Tyson Fury because he was 'in bad shape [and] had been out of boxing for three years.'

The KO artist was also blasted for 'running scared' from WBC mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte.

The thread has amassed almost 3,000 retweets and reached 4,000 likes at the time of this writing.

Wilder competed last month when he successfully defended his championship against Luis Ortiz in a rematch.

The 34-year-old WBC kingpin will now defend his title in his hotly-anticipated rematch with Tyson Fury on 22nd February 2020.
