The Ringside View Of Jake Paul's Brutal Knockout On Ben Askren

A ringside camera picked up Jake Paul's first-round TKO on Saturday night.

The 24-year-old American is now 3-0 after picking up a victory against two-time NCAA wrestling champion Ben Askren after just one minute and 59 seconds of round one.

Paul, who won his last two professional boxing bouts by way of stoppage, once again dominated early on as his opponent struggled to get out the blocks.

It was a nice right hand that sealed it for the YouTuber, with this ringside footage providing a new angle for fans who watched the bout on either Triller or FITE.

Askren, who hadn't fought since his submission defeat to Demian Maia at UFC Fight Night back in 2019, struggled to really test Paul in the opening minute and left himself open on numerous occasions.

Footage soon emerged online of the referee's view of the knockdown following the main event.

In his post-fight interview, Jake Paul spoke about his dream and how it was "unbelievable" to stand next to legends like Snoop Dogg.

"Just a couple of years ago, my teachers would make fun of me in class, telling me I can't do nothing, telling me I wasn't smart," Paul added.

"My schoolmates making fun of me, I used to landscape. I just had a dream and I chased it and worked hard.

"To think I'm here standing next to these legends, it's unbelievable."

He continued, saying: "I've been in training camp every day, I deserved that s**t. This is the craziest moment of my life. I told y'all I was going to do it in the first round, I told y'all I'm a real fighter.

"I don't know how many times I've got to prove myself that this is for real.

"This is for Shadow, my security guard who passed away 10 days ago. He told me I would knock him out in the first round, he said he had a vision in a dream.

"This has been the hardest 10 days of my life, I've had to hold it together to keep this fight going.

"Im just honoured to be here."
