Even if you are the biggest McGregor fan going, you have to admit that the Dublin-born fighter was beaten by the better man in Vegas on August 27.
But to the surprise of many, 'Notorious' spent longer in the ring than expected. I mean, he arguably dominated the first three rounds of the fight.
Saying that, given the way the Irishman blew up a few rounds later, it was clearly part of Mayweather's game plan to allow the 28-year-old to take the opening three.

But what did Conor's corner say to him during the fight? How did they react to each three minute round?
McGregor's coach Owen Roddy has revealed all during the final episode of Showtime's series of their bout and it certainly makes for interesting reading.
Here's what his corner said after every round:

Round 1: "That's one round up, Conor. Easy work. Stay relaxed."
Round 2: "Enjoy it yeah? It's only gonna get better. Easy work. He is going to try and drag this out as long as he can. You are outboxing him, we don't need to put him away too early."
Round 3: "When you are in the clinch, they are mad to take a point off. Slap the body instead, yeah?"
Round 4: "I think he might have took that one, yeah? He is trying to walk you down. Pop and move."

Round 8: "Good round."

As you can see in the below footage, Roddy was incredibly positive about McGregor's chances, encouraging his every move from his corner.
It's also interesting to hear what Mayweather's corner had to say during the fight.
