Mayweather, who boasts a 50-0 professional boxing record, absolutely battered Nasukawa. Dropping him three times before securing a stoppage victory inside the very first round.
Naturally, it sent social media into overdrive. It got plenty of people talking including Pacquiao who ripped Mayweather.
"Here is an early New Year's resolution. To continue to only fight experienced opponents who are my size or bigger," he posted on social media.

He wasn't Mayweather's only former foe to react. Conor McGregor also responded to the ridiculous match-up.

"That 9 milli won't keep you on top of my list for long, kid. #Forbesy," he said.
Meanwhile, after the bout, Mayweather insists 'it was all about entertainment'.
"It was all about entertainment," he said post-fight.
"We had fun. Tokyo, you were amazing, but I'm still retired. We're both still undefeated. Tenshin is still a champion and a great fighter."
Despite being 'retired', a bout against Khabib Nurmagomedov continues to be talked about.
In fact, Mayweather is 'begging' for a fight versus the UFC lightweight king. Well, that's according to his manager Ali Abdelaziz.
"Me and him have been texting each other for the last month and if he says he did not, I'm gonna put everything on line. Do not lie, Floyd," he said.
He added: "He's very much begging for the fight. I told him, I said he's 57 years old, his body's weak, he's fragile, he's got a small head.
"People think I'm crazy but I think Khabib would beat his ass. He thinks Khabib is easy money but Khabib is much younger, much stronger, more tougher than Conor, a guy that went to the eleventh round with him. And Conor gave up, he's a quitter. Khabib is no quitter."
