Diaz attended Misfits Boxing 6 in New Orleans to support Chris Avila, who fought Paul Bamba on the undercard of the event.

After Avila's victory over Bamba, the former UFC superstar got himself involved in an ugly altercation in the streets.

He was filmed choking someone out in shocking scenes. The victim goes by the name of @not_logan_paul and is a Logan Paul lookalike.

He has since broken his silence, revealing what he said to Diaz before being attacked.

He shared the clip of himself being choked unconscious on Instagram, accompanied with the caption: "Got Attacked By Nate Diaz. WTF I was like bro chill. He was like I Someone Say Kill??"

The man was also present when Diaz launched a water bottle in the direction of Chase DeMoor during Avila's fight at Misfits Boxing 6, which incited a ringside scuffle.

UFC president Dana White and Conor McGregor, who had two legendary wars with the Stockton star, have since reacted.

Watching the incident on a phone, White said: "WHAT? He just kneed him to the stomach? Is that Logan Paul? He knocked him out "Whoever that, is he knocked him out! He choked him out! He's way too skinny - Logan Paul is a big motherf***er."

McGregor posted a series of tweets in reaction to his old foe causing mayhem in the streets of New Orleans.

He tweeted: "Hahaha Nate on a rampage tonight! Let’s go Nate! Hahaha."

In another tweet, he wrote: "Lovely little knee to the body hahahaa."

A third post reads: "I mince nate in the clinch these days. Actually anyone in the clinch. Minced."

Diaz, who left the UFC following his submission victory over Tony Ferguson last September, will make his boxing debut in August when he faces Jake Paul.
