Floyd Mayweather Gives Son Koraun A Boxing Masterclass
Many parents are having to give their kids homeschooling right now and Floyd Mayweather has joined them by giving his son a fantastic boxing lesson.
Lots of parents have no doubt been racking their brains over some of their kids work, whilst they've had to teach them during the Covid-19 lockdown, as they don't have the expertise to help as much as they'd like.
That isn't an issue for Mayweather when it comes to teaching his son the fundamentals of boxing. The modern boxing great posted videos of him teaching 20-year-old Koraun, with the captions 'Never claimed to be perfect, but I strive to be the best father possible,' and 'Teaching my son the fundamentals. Keep up the good work, I'm proud of you.'
His son's mother, and Floyd's former partner, Josie Harris died recently with the 40-year-old mother of three of the boxer's children found dead in her car.
It has been a tragic spell for the former four weight world champion who also lost his uncle and trainer Roger last month.
Speaking about Roger's death, the 43-year-old said, "My uncle was one of the most important people in my life inside and outside of the ring.
"Roger was a great champion and one of the best trainers in boxing. Unfortunately, his health was failing him for several years and now he can finally rest in peace.
"Roger meant the world to me, my father Floyd Sr my uncle Jeff, our whole family, everyone in and around the Mayweather Boxing Gym and the entire boxing world.
"It is a terrible loss for all of us."
Mayweather last fought in 2017, against Conor McGregor, and took his record to 50-0 and then hung up his gloves, not for the first time.
He was due to return to action this year, with a rematch against the Irishman amongst his potential opponents, but his uncle's death has reportedly put an end to his plans to fight this year.
