Jake Paul mocks Tommy Fury whilst he's being interviewed

Jake Paul mocks Tommy Fury whilst he's being interviewed

Paul and Fury stepped inside the ring together for the first time since their fight was scheduled for the third time, for just a month away.

Jake Paul took the chance to mock Tommy Fury, whilst his rival was being interviewed as they came face-to-face for the first time since their fight was confirmed.

Everyone is hoping it'll be third time lucky for Paul and Fury, who have twice before been scheduled to fight, only for things to fall apart.

After the second time, the American suggested he had moved on and would never fight the British boxer, but the pair will meet on February 26th, in Saudi Arabia.

It's not a fight everyone will be excited for, especially Americans who have found out they have to splash out nearly $50 to watch, but BT Sport, tried to give it some real promotion on Saturday night.

The pair got in the ring and were interviewed, ahead of Anthony Yarde's fight with Artur Beterbiev, and got very close to each other. Whilst Fury was chatting to fellow former Love Islander Josh Denzel, Paul mocked his rival's clothing, as you can see in the video below.

The fact that the 'Problem Child,' who is well known for his trolling of the British cruiserweight, needed to break out a meme from about 10 years ago to insult his rival rather summed up the whole situation.

Ahead of the meeting, the pair were both videoed talking to the other, via a fight poster in the backstage area of Wembley Arena.

The American rubbed the chin of his opponents beard on the poster and reassured him everything was going to be 'okay,' because he'll make a lot of money.

Having seemingly revealed that Fury and partner Molly-Mae were parents, before they could even reveal the news, the YouTuber again brought up the other Love Islander.

In return, the 23-year-old, younger brother of the world heavyweight champion, had drawn a penis around the mouth of his rival, saying his was actually bigger than the drawing, mature stuff.

Whilst there will no doubt be plenty of interest in their fight, and they'll both make plenty of money, the confrontation did not belong at Wembley on Saturday.

The main event between Beterbiev and Yarde was for three of the four light heavyweight world titles, which were all held by the former.

He was defending the trio for the first time, having Joe Smith Jr for the WBO version in June last year, to add to his IBF and WBC versions.

Yarde, in the hardest fight of his career, gave a hell of a performance but was stopped late in the eighth round, as he led on two of the three cards.

That was the real boxing of the night, even if Paul and Fury will get many of the headlines, and really should be applauded for adding the entertainment to what was an embarrassing argument to the two social media stars.
