Jake Paul Shares Footage Of Himself On Reflex Bag And Fans Are Ripping Him Apart

"Is this meant to be impressive?"

Boxing fans are ripping Jake Paul apart after he posted footage of himself training on a reflex bag. Check it out below.

The YouTuber turned combat sports star remains dedicated to his craft despite being inactive in 2022.

Paul is expected to fight again later on this year, likely August, and decided to share a recent training clip online.

Reflex bags are used to improve moment and ability to dodge strikes, compared to a regular punching bag which is used to improve power.

The 25-year-old is 5-0 in boxing and posted the clip with a caption of: "Someone’s getting knocked out in August. Who should it be?"

Twitter users were quick to criticise his technique however and think it'll need improvement if he wants to make a successful step-up in competition.

One commented: "Anyone who can box a bit can do that."

Another said: "Is this supposed to be impressive?"

A third put: "I would be mortified if this is how I looked hitting the bag..."

While someone tweeted: "This guy is trying to give Conor McGregor fight advice?"

Paul first fought against fellow content creator AnEsonGib in January 2020 and comfortably knocked his opponent out.

Since then he's gone on to defeat former NBA point guard Nate Robinson as well as UFC alumni Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley twice.

A controversial figure, Paul recently admitted turning to boxing may have saved his life.

'The Problem Child' admitted he was on a dark path in his life before turning to the ring in a recent interview with Teddy Atlas.

He explained: "Boxing saved my life, so I owe a ton to it. I would be in jail or probably dead somewhere if it weren’t for boxing because I was going down a really weird path in my early 20s that wasn’t sustainable and because of that I owe everything to this sport.

"That’s why I’m so passionate about making boxing great again. I have the hat that says make boxing great again... I’ll slowly earn more people’s respect."

Paul is keen to debut in MMA in the future, despite his war of words with UFC president Dana White.

He's recently gone back and forth with former middleweight champion and UFC Hall of Fame inductee Michael Bisping.
