Jake Paul doesn't believe he lost the fight and says he deserves a rematch

The dust has barely settled on their long-awaited fight and Jake Paul has wasted no time in calling for a second clash with Tommy Fury.

The dust has barely settled on their long-awaited fight and Jake Paul has wasted no time in calling for a rematch against Tommy Fury.

The Brit ended up handing the 26-year-old his first professional loss, getting his hand raised in Saudi Arabia thanks to a split decision.

But while YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul was initially gracious in his defeat, it didn't take long for him to demand a second bout, insisting he didn't agree with the judges' scorecards.

Speaking during his interview after the fight, the ex-Disney kid said: "All respect to Tommy he won, judge me by my wins judge me by my losses."

However, he then added: “I’ll come back. I think we deserve that rematch. It was a great fight, a close fight.

“I don’t know if I agree with the judges. I got a 10-8 round twice, so it is what it is. This is boxing.

“Look, I’ve already won in life man, I’ve already won in every single way. I have an amazing family, amazing friends, amazing work ethic and I’ve made further than I ever thought that I would and beyond.

“This is definitely a humbling experience. I’ll take it on the chin, get back in the gym and we can run it back because I think we put on an amazing show for the fans tonight.”

He also rattled off a bunch of excuses as to why he lost the bout.

"Honestly I felt flat," Paul said.

"I got sick really bad twice in this camp and injured my arm. I am not making my excuses, it was just tough in this camp. But judge me by my losses. 100 percent let us run it back!"

As for Fury, he was overcome with emotions following his victory.

When Radio Raheem came over to interview him, Fury dedicating the win to his newborn daughter Bambi.

"I love you and I can't wait to see you," he said into the microphone.

"This fight is for you, Bambi, I love you."

This grudge match was two years in the making, but the rivals will likely do battle once again if Paul does actually activate the rematch clause in the contract.
