Floyd Mayweather's bodyguard who once squared off with Conor McGregor gets brutally KO'd

Jizzy Mack infamously went face to face with Conor McGregor in the lead-up to the big-money fight with Floyd Mayweather back in 2017.

Floyd Mayweather’s bodyguard Jizzy Mack has copped a hell of a knockout blow from Japanese kickboxing veteran Kouzi.

Mack infamously squared off with Conor McGregor in the lead-up to the big-money fight between the Irishman and Floyd Mayweather back in 2017.

However, upon stepping in the ring with an experienced fighter in Kouzi, Mack looked seriously out of his depth in a professional setting.

The 40-year-old was knocked out in the third round of the matchup after suffering a succession of knockdowns.

The fight was held on the undercard of Mayweather’s exhibition fight against the Manny Pacquiao-trained Japanese fighter Mikauru Asakura.

The undefeated legend copped a few solid shots from Asakura, however, turned up the heat to secure a knockout victory in the second round.

The win earned ‘Money Mayweather’ another AU$32 million (£20m).

Things didn’t go so smoothly for Mack, whose real name is Ray Sadeghi and was 42 pounds heavier than his opponent.

Mack shot to fame after squaring up against McGregor in 2017.

The altercation led the Notorious one to quip a few spoken jabs Mack’s way in the lead-up to the huge bout, calling Mack a ‘juicehead turkey’.

And unsurprisingly, McGregor fans had a field day online after watching Mack fall face first to the mat.

One fan wrote: “Floyd Mayweather might want to get himself a new bodyguard…”

Another said: “TMT needs to find a new juicehead turkey for security.”

A third user was ecstatic, writing: “Dear MMA Twitter, remember Floyd’s ‘juicehead turkey’ bodyguard that went after Conor? Well he just got ktfo by a guy 42lbs laughter than him lol.

“Lifting weight don’t mean you can fight bro, lucky Conor didn’t end ya but you got folded eventually.”

Brutal.

It’ll be interesting to see if Jizzy Mack remains The Money Team’s bodyguard come next year, with Mayweather targeting a rematch with Conor McGregor.

However, the Irishman has shut down talks of a match after posting a since-deleted image of himself fighting Mayweather to Instagram, captioning the post: “Not interested.”

Both fighters walked away with a combined AU$630 million (£388m) purse following their 2017 fight.

A rematch worth as much if not more could be a hard proposition to turn down.
