Deji is set to face Alex Wassabi in the biggest YouTube boxing fight of 2022.

The 25-year-old YouTuber, born Deji Olatunji, is continuing in the footsteps of similar YouTube-turned-boxing stars like his older brother KSI, Logan Paul and Jake Paul, by competing in one of the biggest boxing matches of the year.

Deji recently announced the fight against his rival on his YouTube channel, where he told his subscribers: “I’m gonna be fighting main event on the Showstar UK vs USA event at the Wembley SSE arena.”

The boxing match is set to take place on 5th March 2022 at London’s second-largest indoor arena, with doors opening at 6pm.

The YouTuber made the announcement by posting an elaborate war-style preparation video, which saw the internet sensation emerging from a tank with a pair of personalized “Deji” boxing gloves, where he called out his opponent.

Deji dissed Wassabi: “Alex Wassabi, you desperate f***er. You got your wish, I’m going to bury your already dead career.”

“You ran from my bro,” the YouTube star continued, referring to his brother KSI’s previous Twitter feud with Wasabi, “but there’s no escaping me”, he warned.

“I’m gonna put you to sleep on that canvas, March 5th.”

The 25-year-old then addressed his viewers: “I want to see all my fans there to witness my redemption, damn straight.”

In true YouTuber boxing fashion, Wassabi, born Alexander Burriss, recently posted his own training video, showing the star preparing for the big fight with an overlay of Deji’s vocal attacks against him.

He captioned the video: “Underestimate me all you want but after this…You Will Respect Me.”
