The Top 25 Boxers In The World Right Now Have Been Named And Ranked

From Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin to Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, the best boxers in the world right now have been named.

Canelo Alvarez leads the way as the best boxer in the world right now ahead of WBC champion Tyson Fury and unified world champ Oleksandr Usyk.

The 31-year-old Mexican superstar boasts an impressive 57-1-2 record and hasn’t lost since his 2013 super-fight with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.

Canelo has won titles in four weight classes and was recently crowned boxing’s first undisputed super-middleweight world champ.

The pound-for-pound king sealed a sensational 11th-round TKO win over Caleb Plant at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday.

BoxRec has placed Canelo top of its rankings for the best active boxer in the world, with the undisputed super-middleweight champ scoring a staggering 964.5 points.


Gennady Golovkin, who initially secured a draw against Canelo before suffering a defeat in the rematch, finished a distant second with 508.2 points.

Joining Canelo and Triple G in the top three of BoxRec’s rankings is Fury, who received 456.8 points.

The 33-year-old Brit superstar knocked out fierce rival Deontay Wilder last month to successfully retain his WBC title in the conclusion to their epic trilogy of fights.
