Tyson Fury's promoter has shed new light on why he hasn't spoken to Paris in 'three months' ahead of his big fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury rematches Usyk on Saturday following his crushing defeat in their undisputed showdown last May.

The previously-undefeated Brit surrendered the WBC world title but has the chance to regain the iconic green and gold belt when he renews his rivalry with the Ukrainian star.

Fury, who worried boxing fans during his outing at the open workout, is taking the fight extremely seriously, revealing he hasn't spoken to his wife in 'three months'.

"It's been a long camp. Been away from my wife and kids for three months," he told Dev Sahni on Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions YouTube channel.

"I've not spoken to Paris at all for three months, not one word. Yeah, I've sacrificed a lot.

"It will be worth it, 100 percent."

Paris responded to her husband's claim as she posted a message on her Instagram story.

"People don't see the sacrifices made," she wrote.

"I've let him solely concentrate on this fight. It seems like he's been gone forever, especially with no contact.

"But if it's what he needs."

Fury's promoter, Frank Warren, has now shared his thoughts on his fighter abstaining from contact with his family.

Warren insists 'The Gypsy King' is 'absolutely focused' on his rematch with Usyk, stating he has 'cut back on everything' in the build-up.

Speaking to iFL TV, he explained: "Tyson's cut back on everything for this. He's cut back on the amount of people in his team. He's not speaking to people, he's not taking phone calls from family.

"He's absolutely focused on this fight that's all he's interested in. He doesn't want to know about any problems outside business unless they are massively important family issues you know that's where he's at."
