Tommy Fury and former UFC star Darren Till are set to meet in the boxing ring in Manchester next year.

Fury, 25, and Till, 31, will clash at the Co-op Live Arena on January 18, 2025 at MF & DAZN: X Series 20, which will be streamed live on DAZN PPV.

Till has never had a professional boxing bout but boasts 24 professional MMA fights, with half of these coming in the UFC – including a UFC welterweight title loss against Tyron Woodley in 2018.

Although, this will not be the first time Till has fought in a boxing ring having took part in an exhibition match against Mohammad Mutie on 6 July 2024.

As for Fury, he is a boxer by trade and currently boasts the impressive feat of being the only man to have beaten Jake Paul.

The former Love Island star has not fought since beating KSI by unanimous decision in October 2023.

Despite receiving some criticism for not fighting 'proper boxers' the 25-year-old has an unblemished record of 10-0.

Fury said: “It feels great to, finally, say that I am back! I have been out of the ring far too long, I’ve been getting itchy knuckles, and so I am thrilled to be able to announce my return. This is extra special as I am the A-side and headlining a massive event in my hometown and in front of my fans, at Co-op Live.

"Till had a good UFC career but he’s stepping into the boxing ring now, against a proper pro, and he will quickly realise that he is out of his depth, and this is not the game for him. I plan on dealing with Till in conclusive fashion and then chasing even bigger fights in 2025.”

Till said: “January 18 is my time, my night.”

Mams Taylor, Co-President of Misfits Boxing, said: “We are starting 2025 with a serious statement of intent! Fury vs Till is an absolute banger, one of the biggest crossover fights that can be made, and it will set up the X Series for a record-breaking year.

"The build-up to this is going to be compelling, it could get personal, and the fight will be one of the most brutal we have ever seen on Misfits. Get your tickets now."

Crossover fights between boxers and MMA fighters are becoming increasingly popular with Paul facing several ex-UFC fighters - even targeting an MMA bout with UFC star Conor McGregor.

Ex-UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has also crossed over having fought both Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury in the squared circle since his departure from MMA's premier promotion.
