Jake Paul's X-rated response after catching NFL player sliding into his ex-girlfriend's DMs

A video of Jake Paul reacting to an NFL star sliding into his girlfriend's DMs has resurfaced online.

On Friday, controversial YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul will return to the ring in a highly-anticipated bout against former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.

The fight was initially scheduled to take place on July 20 but was postponed after the 58-year-old boxer was forced to stop training due to an ulcer flare up.

But ahead of the fight, an old video of Paul's X-rated reaction to an NFL star flirting with his ex-girlfriend has resurfaced online.

In a video posted on by his Paul's gambling app betr in 2022, the American appeared to catch an NFL player sliding into the DMs of ex-girlfriend Julia Rose, and he didn't look too pleased about it.

As he scrolls through his then-partner's phone, the YouTuber stumbles across a familiar name in her message inbox.

"We've caught a player in Julia's DMs. Does anyone know who... is?" he says to the camera as the name is bleeped out.

Clearly shocked, everyone in the room then gives a surprised reaction with some even giggling in the background.

Speaking to someone off camera, Jake then asks: "That's your favourite player?!"

Paul's partner then grabs the phone and says: "He just sent you with this. What does that mean?"

Rose then imitates the emoji of the crossed index and middle finger.

"[Does that mean] you tied? I don't know," Jake replies.

"That's what I'm saying, they have no f***ing game."

While the content was light-hearted and clearly aimed to be just a bit of fun, some fans took to social media to do some lip-reading and try to work out who the NFL player is.

Commenting on the post, one fa said: "IT'S LITERALLY DEEBO SAMUEL."

While another agreed, adding: "Deebo shooting his shot."

And a third joked: "Tristan Thompson."

If you look closer at the clip, it appears that Paul mouths the San Francisco 49ers wide receiver's name.

However, just four months later, Paul and Rose ended their relationship, as the boxer appeared to confirm the news with an instagram post, simply writing: "Picked the wrong Rose."

The 27-year-old is now dating Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam, who has admitted she is worried for her boyfriend's safety ahead of his fight with Tyson this weekend.
