Jake Paul gets pied after trying to call ‘the most famous person’ in his phone contacts

A little bit embarrassing for Jake...

YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul was left with egg on his face after he was tasked with calling 'the most famous person' in his contact list.

Opting to try his arm at contacting The Rock, Dwayne left the 26-year-old with no answer, leaving for an awkward encounter all the more.

Paul is preparing to fight Andre August on Friday in Orlando, as he looks to improve his record to 8-0-1.

''I could call him,'' begins Paul, when tasked with the feat by DAZN in his latest promotional video.

''He's gonna be like what the f*** is this. I'm gonna say 'Yo, can I call you back?

The video then plays out as the internet star is left with egg on his face, as Johnson's voicemail message plays out, much to the despair of Paul.

''Right when I needed you Dwayne. It could have been an emergency,'' he continues.

Paul has already beaten former UFC star Nate Diaz this year inside the ring, with the speculation continuing regarding a potential fight with fellow YouTuber KSI.

Both have now lost to fellow pro Tommy Fury in the past 18 months and continue to go back and forth online via popular social media platform X.

Sidemen member KSI had stepped up his attempts to seek clarity over the result against the former Love Island star, with a decision made in favour of the Mancunian earlier this month.

Paul is currently priced as low as 1/5 to beat August on December 15 but has only lost once in his career to this point too.

His approach has also left fans surprised, admitting that he does not care if people tune in to watch his latest bout or not in recent days.

"I don't know why they want me to keep on promoting this f****** fight, I don't care, with his co-host left a bit surprised by his statement, quickly adding: "He's fighting on December 15."

"I don't care, this is literally just so I can get experience. I'm wearing the same outfit as my last fight, I'm just showing up and knocking this guy the f*** out. We don't need to promote this s***."
