Boxing fans are worried that Gervonta 'Tank' Davis may pull out of his controversial fight with Jake Paul after seeing the YouTuber's latest social media post.
On November 14, controversial YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul will face lightweight world champion Davis in a 10 round exhibition bout at the Kaseya Center in Miami.
Since rumours of the fight began emerging online, it was met with immediate backlash given the massive weight disparity between the two men, with Davis fighting at 9st 9lb (61kg), while Paul has fought most of his career at cruiserweight, which is 14st 4lb (90.7kg).
Ahead of the fight, both fighters spoke to the media during a press conference held in New York City, leading to many fans pointing out the clear size difference between the fighters.

But it is not the weight difference that fans believe could lead to Davis pulling out of the fight, as some have suggested Paul's latest video from the press conference could annoy that boxer enough to make him cancel the bout.

Throughout his boxing career, Paul has made a name for himself by brutally mocking and trolling his opponents across social media in the build up to their fight.
And it appears that he will be treating his upcoming fight with Davis in the exact same way, as he took to social media platform X to share an AI edited video of the pair passionately kissing during the press conference.

Initially, the video appears to be normal but as the pair face off, the infamous 'Careless Whisper' George Michael begins to play and Paul grabs Davis by the beck and the pair kiss.
Captioning the post, Paul wrote: "They can never make me hate you spanky tanky."
Reacting to the video, one shared their concerns that it may have taken things too far, writing: "You laughing but Tank the type to cancel the fight over some s*** like this."
While another agreed, replying: "Nah 100% I wouldn’t even be surprised if he did after this."

As it stands, the fight looks set to go ahead, with the pair agreeing to 10 three-minute rounds at a maximum weight of 13st 13lb (88kg).

Ahead of his most recent fight against Lamont Roach Jr. in March this year, Davis concerned fans after he suddenly posted on his Instagram story that the fight had been cancelled.
Ultimately, the fight did go ahead, with the pair fighting to a majority draw, meaning that Davis retained his WBA lightweight title.

But that hasn't stopped the 30-year-old from receiving frequent criticism from fans for remaining active or regularly fighting other champions to prove himself.
