Jake Paul responds after Floyd Mayweather mocks Mike Tyson with stinging two-word comment

Jake Paul his hit back at Floyd Mayweather after the boxing legend mocked the Youtuber-turned-boxer for his fight with heavyweight great Mike Tyson.

Back in November, controversial YouTube star Paul faced former heavyweight champions Tyson in the ring in his 12th fight since becoming a professional boxer.

The social media giant got the victory over his opponent via unanimous decision, but the event was met with backlash online fans pointed out that Tyson was more than double Paul's age.

Recently, fellow boxing legend Mayweather offered his opinion on the event, and it's led to Paul kicking off on social media.

Mayweather is no stranger to fighting influencers in the ring, as he's recently faced off against Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers, Deji, a YouTuber and brother of KSI, and Paul's own brother Logan.

But the unbeaten boxer was completely dismissive of fighting Paul while making his feelings about his fight with Tyson clear.

While appearing on The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon asked Mayweather about the bout, leading to the boxer and live audience breaking into laughter.

Once he gathered himself, Mayweather responded to the idea of fighting Paul, saying: "Easy, too easy . Even at 48, too easy."

The clip was later posted to social media, prompting an angry response from Paul, who replied: "You bum. Deji gave you a black eye in an event that had 4,000 people in it. Deji hahahah. I would knock you out in 2 rounds and you can’t sniff Mike Tyson’s toe."

Mayweather faced off against Deji in an exhibition bout in Dubai in November 2022 and for the majority of the fight the former champion toyed with the YouTuber.

But when the Brit landed a clean blow that left Mayweather with a black eye, the boxing great turned up the heat and showed his class, finishing Deji via TKO in the sixth round.

In his very first boxing fight, Paul also faced Deji in a competitive and bloody amateur bout in Manchester, winning the bout in the fifth round by TKO.

Since then, the American influencer has gone on to claim wins over the likes of Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
