Francis Ngannou's face when he realises he ignored Eminem is priceless, he was shook

Ngannou was so focused at a dinner event on Friday night that he almost forgot to greet rapper Eminem.

Francis Ngannou was so oblivious at Friday night's dinner event that he almost forgot to greet one of the star guests, Eminem.

Ngannou is gearing up for his bout against Tyson Fury, which is set to take place on Saturday night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at 10pm BST.

However, at a dinner hosted on the eve of the fight, special guest Eminem was almost completely blanked by the MMA fighter turned boxer, who was focused on making his way through the crowd and had to be stopped before walking off.

The former UFC heavyweight champion swiftly made his way through the crowd of people, before being stopped and told he had missed hip-hop star Eminem, which caused Ngannou to pull a face of shock and realisation as he was almost going to blank the star.

The two then shared a short embrace, with Eminem revealed to be a keen boxing fan that same night when speaking to ex-professional boxer Amir Khan after being gifted a limited edition WBC watch.

Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk was also present at the event, and snapped a photo with the 'Lose Yourself' star to post on his Instagram story.

With a star-studded guest pool awaiting the fight, the event is sure to be a good one, with Francis Ngannou making his boxing debut after making the switch over from MMA.

Tyson Fury on the other hand will be looking to get the 34th win of his boxing career, which would also prolong his undefeated record to 35 bouts.

Fury stands as a heavy favourite with odds of 1/16 for the Manchester-born boxer to win, though Ngannou will be sure to put up a tough fight as a former heavyweight UFC fighter.
