Eddie Hearn gave a furious two-word response after Chris Eubank Jr. slapped Conor Benn with an egg as he had to be restrained by security backstage.

Eubank Jr. and Benn clashed during Tuesday's pre-fight press conference.

After the presser, Eubank Jr. and Benn faced off, where the latter was struck by an egg.

Benn took to social media after the incident. On X, he wrote: "That’s the only shot you’ll land on me you f**king prick. 2 rounds you are finished."

Eubank Jr. then explained his stunt, tweeting: "Apparently egg contamination was the reason for his two failed drugs tests. So I contaminated him with an egg."

Close-up footage of the egg slap shows exactly what was said between the British fighters.

Hearn was furious with Eubank Jr. as he made his feelings clear following the incident.

Asked for his thoughts on Eubank Jr. striking Benn with an egg, he told DAZN: "B**ch move."

The Matchroom chief also spoke to Sky Sports, where he claimed anything now goes following Eubank Jr.'s blow.

"He came on stage with an egg. I thought it was glass. The noise and the way it shattered was like a glass. We don’t know what’s happened. All I’m saying now, all bets are off. If you bump into Nigel Benn in the next 10 minutes, watch yourself," he said.

"The thing is with Eubank is that everything is pre-mediated. He’s sat there at night and thought 'I’m going to hit him round the face with an egg'. Some might find it funny. Imagine you in a head to head right now, the police would be looking for you.

"The game is the game, the fight is the fight. All bets are off. Anything goes. You’ve gone to that level. Thursday at Spurs. It’s on sight."

New footage of the incident shows Hearn being restrained by security backstage as he appeared to clash with a member of the BOXXER team.

Hearn can be heard saying: "You f**king can get it in all!"

Eubank Jr. and Benn had originally been due to meet in October 2022 before the bout was cancelled when Benn failed two drug tests.

The all-British showdown, which will be contested at 160lbs, is set to take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 26.
