Boxing fans react to 'fight of the year' between Deen The Great and Walid Sharks

Fans online provided their reaction between Walid Sharks and Deen the Great, with some suggested it was a contender for 'fight of the year'.

Sharks was knocked down by his opponent in the third round, but a unanimous decision meant DTG extended his record to 5-0 inside the ring.

With a mixed undercard transpiring beforehand, supporters were happy to see a bout that could have gone either way, with Deen almost knocked down by Sharks in the final round.

Anticipation is continuing to build ahead of the main event, with KSI set to face Tommy Fury and Logan Paul taking on Dillon Danis.

One supporter online was more than impressed with what he saw, tweeting: ''Walid vs Deen is the fight of the year.''

Former coach of KSI, Viddal Riley, also chipped in with his views, adding: ''Deen Vs Walid was a fight that contained EVERYTHING. Well Done Mandem.''

Another wrote: ''Walid would’ve won if there was 2 more rounds. Deen was gassed and hurt.''

Praise continued to roll in for DTG, with another adding: ''I’m saying put some respect on DEEN THE GREAT’s name people.''

''That Deen the great and Walid Sharks fight was better than most fights with professional boxers,'' said another user on social media.

DTG added further fuel to the fire following the final bell, with both Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis hot on the unbeaten boxer's lips.

“Gervonta Davis, if you want to scrap, you want to run it, let’s run it, let’s make this bread,” he said. “Because nobody else in the influencer scene can f*** with me. Or if Ryan wants to run it — Ryan Garcia, anybody, anybody can get it.”

Garcia later responded via social media, posting: ''I’ll face Anthony ugly Taylor, DEEN the dumb*** and KSLIES all in the same day only way I’ll do it. Each of them gets four rounds.''
