Eddie Hearn has revealed he wants Tyson Fury to defeat Deontay Wilder in their highly anticipated rematch next month.

Wilder and Fury are set to square off for a second time on February 22 and Anthony Joshua's promoter will be watching with a keen eye.

The Matchroom Boxing boss revealed that he thinks 'The Gypsy King' will come out on top in Los Angeles.

'From a global fight perspective, Wilder against AJ is massive,' Hearn told IFL TV. 'But from a personal preference, I want Tyson Fury to win.

'Two reasons. One I respect him and I like him. And two, he's British. 'I'd never back against a Brit in any fight, whether I like them or I don't. That's just the way I am. I hope Fury does it.'

It will be interesting to see what goes down at Saturday's press conference.

The duo met earlier in January for their first face to face since the first fight but a second press conference is scheduled for 9pm UK time Saturday evening.

It's safe to say that 'AJ' will be watching the fight with great interest as it's no secret both men are on his radar.

Hearn revealed earlier this week that Joshua's team have received a "huge site offer" to stage an undisputed heavyweight clash with the winner of Fury vs Wilder II in Saudi Arabia.

"We have to try and make that happen," Hearn said about an undisputed fight to Sky Sports. "Right now, the fight that Anthony Joshua wants is the winner of Wilder and Fury.

"We've been there before. Both guys have turned down 60-40 for that fight and now we have no other option, but to offer them 50-50, because the fight will never happen, subject to the boss giving the thumbs up, which I think he knows that's the way to make this fight.

"We have a huge site offer in place for that fight to take place."

Who do you think will win the rematch between Wilder and Fury?
