Tyson Fury has sent 'love and praise' to longtime rival Deontay Wilder in his first Instagram post since Saturday night's victory.

Fury defeated Wilder via TKO in the seventh round to hand the 'Bronze Bomber' his first professional defeat.

'The Gypsy King' took to Instagram on Monday evening to praise his 'dance partner of the century'.

The 31-year-old posted a picture of him embracing Wilder stating:

'Love and respect to the dance partner of the century @bronzebomber #speedyrecovery.'

Fury is likely referring to the vicious shot in round three which caused Wilder to bleed from the ear.

Spectators in the MGM Grand let out a huge roar of shock when the 34-year-old crashed to the mat following the hook.

Wilder looked visibly shocked as he rose from the canvas and never recovered from the shot to his ear.

He was rushed to hospital following the fight with a suspected ruptured eardrum.

Footage emerged following the fight which showed the two fighters embracing and Fury praised his rival.

"What a fighter, what a fighter you are," he told Wilder.

"Anybody you land on-

"Let me tell you something, in that first round, you were f**king dynamite.

"God bless you and your family."

Fury managed to maintain his usual jokey attitude following the fight and threw a few light jabs at his rival.

Wilder had repeatedly called Fury 'pillow fist' in the build-up to the clash, mocking his striking ability.

It's a claim that Fury was quick to mock.

At the post-fight presser, the 31-year-old recalled per talkSPORT: "Don't forget, when I came here they said I can't punch.

"Deontay Wilder said himself that I've got two pillow fists.

"But you know, not bad for an old fat guy who can't punch, eh? Done alright, didn't I?

"I'm an old feather duster who can't break an egg."
