Mike Tyson's children told him to 'sit his old a** down' when he told them about his boxing comeback at aged 54.

'Iron Mike' will return to the ring for the first time in 15 years when he faces Roy Jones Jr on September 12.

The contest will be an exhibition bout and fought over eight rounds with no judges involved.

Former world champion Tyson revealed to Jimmy Fallon that his family think he should stay retired.

"My kids think I should sit my old ass down, but what do they know?

"I'm very confident. They don't know how to fight, neither one of my kids can beat me in a fight so what are they talking about?"

Tyson and Jones Jr will duke it out exclusively on streaming service Triller and sealing the fight cost the platform an insane amount of money.

Reports claim the app paid around $50 million (£39 million) to broadcast Tyson's return on their channel.

Triller have yet to announce the pay-per-view price for Tyson vs. Jones Jr with 'The Baddest Man on the Planet' donating his purse to charity.

Jones Jr suggested he could make as much as $10 million (£7.8 million) if PPV sales are strong.

The 51-year-old also conceded that he is the 'David' in their David and Goliath contest, but still backed himself to put in a strong showing.

"His legs are huge and his thighs are huge. His arms are huge and his neck is huge!" Jones Jr told World Boxing News.

"It's very risky, yes. But God's in control of all. [Previously] I was beating everybody in every weight class I was in, so what you gonna do?

"It's like David and Goliath. He's a giant monster, we know. I'm little David and all I've got is God on my side, which is all I'm gonna need."

Who do you think will win the highly-anticipated fight?
