Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are set to square off in the ring in late 2026, and this momentous occasion will see the winner receive a new championship belt.
There has been a longing from fans to see the British fighters square off in the ring for over a decade now, as they longed to see who was the best boxer on the island.
As Fury made easy work of Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last month, Turki Alalshikh attempted to make the fight announcement with Joshua as he called the 36-year-old and promoter Eddie Hearn into the ring.
The pair refused the requests and remained outside the ring as Fury clearly indicated that he wants Joshua to be his next clash, and it looks likely this will be the case in November.

Neither Joshua nor Fury is currently holding a title, and it was expected this would just be a momentous bout between two elite fighters with no belt on the line.
However, this has all changed now, according to the Ring, as a custom-made title will be made for the clash, with the winner set to earn the ‘Fight of Britain’ belt.
The winner of Joshua and Fury will be presented with the belt that is reportedly ‘100% GOLD’ and being described as ‘A GOLDEN BELT FOR A ROYAL BATTLE’.
Ahead of this fight between the pair, Joshua is set for a warm-up fight to help him sharpen his fighting skills after a long period out of the ring, with his last bout coming in December when he knocked out Jake Paul.
Shortly after that victory Joshua took a prolonged absence from the sport after being involved in a tragic car accident which killed two of his closest friends, and so this decision to fight Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25, ahead of the Fury clash, makes complete sense.
