Anthony Joshua posts X-rated rant shutting down Dillian Whyte fight

Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte were involved in a Twitter spat.

Anthony Joshua has denied talks of facing Dillian Whyte as he posted an X-rated rant on social media, with his rival firing back.

Joshua returned to the win column following his back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk by outpointing Jermaine Franklin last April.

He's supposedly set to have another fight this summer before taking on former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in Saudi Arabia.

Whyte is the rumoured opponent for August, with Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn talking up a second meeting in the professional ranks.

But 'AJ' has shut down talks of a bout against Whyte, claiming he doesn't know anything about the proposed heavyweight clash.

He took to Instagram to hit out at the rumours in an X-rated outburst. On his story, he uploaded a post with the caption: "I don't know about any talks to fight Dillian Whyte.

"Everyday. AJ this AJ that AJ's hairlines going way back but I'll still f**k your girl go retweet that."

'The Body Snatcher', who is also coming off a win over Franklin, responded: "How’s about you stop being a b*tch and let’s make the fight you f**king weird guy always talking sh*t tweeting stuff then deleting be a man you little b*tch."

They fought in the amateurs, with Whyte claiming the win. But Joshua exacted revenge in the professional ranks, beating him in their December 2015 showdown.

Hearn is hoping to match them against each other this summer, saying: "The Dillian Whyte fight is a very dangerous fight for AJ; it’s a very ballsy fight to go into when you’ve got that payday against Deontay Wilder in December, but that’s his preferred fight now.

"That fight’s got to get done, but that is his preferred opponent for August."

He added: "AJ wants to fight in August. We’ve got offers being presented to him today. He’s going to want probably more money than the offer will be, and then we go from there.

"It’s a big fight. Dillian’s a big name in the division. I think those guys away from the massive fights. If Dillian doesn’t fight AJ, we have to find him another fight and that’s where it starts to become difficult if it’s not Andy Ruiz or Zhang or those kinds of fights.

"I think it’s I think those world-class heavyweights that are just outside of those elite money fights are in a bit of a tough spot."
