You can’t have gone far on Instagram without coming across Abdu Rozik. The social media star, who is reportedly the world’s smallest singer, shot to fame in recent moments after his beef with fellow internet sensation Hasbulla Magomedov went viral. But who is this tiny performer-turned-boxer? And how did he gain so much popularity?

Who is Abdu Rozik and why is he famous?

Taking the likes of TikTok and YouTube by storm, you surely would have come across Abdu on your social feeds.

Abdu became an overnight internet sensation in 2021 following the videos of him and Hasbulla fighting and arguing.

Perhaps best known for singing Tajik rap songs, Rozik works closely with blogger and rapper Baron in Dushanbe, who performs on Instagram.

The star has also spent time with music icons like French Montana, and the controversial Saltbae.

How old is Abu Rozik?

Despite his baby-faced appearance, Abdu is actually over the age of 18. The internet sensation is thought to have the same syndrome as Hasbulla, causing his youthful looks and small stature.

Who is Abdu Rozik fighting?

Abdu Rozik’s next fight was meant to be with Hasbulla. The pair were set to face-off in a fight after multiple press conferences, but the fight is yet to happen.

More specifically, a row erupted over the fight, which was said to be a contest between two teenagers with dwarfism and it has also been condemned by the Sports Association of Little People of Russia for being "unethical".

What is Abdu Roznik's condition?

There's no official information on Abdu Rozik’s disease but it's been reported that he suffers from dwarfism. The condition affects growth and can cause other physical problems, such as bowed legs or an unusually curved spine, according to the NHS.

Genes can play a part in the condition, but it's usually a result of the body not producing enough growth hormone. It can be caused by over 400 medical conditions, say experts at the Restricted Growth Association, but most sufferers are able to live normal, healthy lives.

Five-time Paralympic gold medallist Ellie Simmonds OBE, Tyrion Lannister and Peter Dinklage, for example, have achondroplasia, whose primary feature is dwarfism.

Where is Abdu Roznik from?

Abdu Roznik hails from Tajikistan, a country in Central Asia surrounded by Afghanistan, China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The land-locked country is well-known for its rugged mountains, which are popular for hiking and climbing.
