Andrew Johns wasn't having a bar of it!

One bloke was on the receiving end of an absolute serving from the rugby league legend after he tried to crack a joke by calling Johns the name of another famous player.

Bad move.

Now the video of the incident has gone viral - and it's easy to see why.

Brendon Rawlings approached the eighth Immortal while he was enjoying a few quiet beers at his local pub.

Trying to rile Johns up, Rawlings then said: "Just getting a photo with Anthony Minichiello."

Of course, he'd referring to the Sydney Roosters and New South Wales Blues great.

It was all a bit of light-hearted fun and games with no bad malice intended, but Johns clearly didn't see it that way.

Clearly agitated by what was said, Johns snapped back at the guy.

"If you're going to be a f**king Derek I won't do a photo," he said.

The clip was uploaded to TikTok where it instantly went viral, racking up over a quarter-of-a-million views in less than 24 hours.

Most people saw the funny side of things, but some TikTok users called for Rawlings to show some respect to the rugby league icon.

One person commented: "The 8th responded as he should have. Don't mess with the 8th."

While another added: "Andrew Johns is an NRL immortal. Show some respect."

Either way, the video has now been doing the rounds on social media with the rugby league community appearing to find it pretty hilarious.

Some people are even calling for it to become a new trend.

Born a stone's throw away from West Ham's training ground, Max is obviously a die-hard Liverpool fan.
