Cameron Munster has let the cat out of the bag.

No, he hasn't accidentally leaked whether the legendary Cameron Smith will be pulling on the Storm jersey for one final time this season.

Instead, he's revealed something far more important.

The Melbourne Storm were crowned NRL champions last season.

The Melbourne Storm five-eighth has admitted that he signed his very first NRL contract in a local strip club.

Not in a board room, not at AAMI Park and certainly not in the comfort of his own home surrounded by friends and family.

Speaking on Brett Finch's Uncensored podcast, the Melbourne Storm and Queensland State of Origin star explained exactly how the hilarious (but somewhat life-changing) events transpired.

"We actually went to watch the Storm game on Anzac Day and they showed me the facilities during the week before I played for Queensland Cup," Munster said.

"Everyone was so humbling, so welcome. At that time I was so starstruck meeting the big three and Bellamy but they were so welcoming and happy to say hello.

"No one knows this Finchy but I signed my contract at Kittens. After the game they took me there, I'm not going to reveal my sources as to who took me there, but at the time I was pretty starstruck when we walked in. I was like where's the pen and paper?"

Finchy, a man who has never shied away from sharing his own hilarious career stories, decided to provide some further context for his listeners.

"For anyone who doesn't know what Kittens is, it's is an establishment where impressive people dance up around poles," he added.

"I tell you what, it's a pretty good way to the heart of most rugby league players, if you're looking for them to sign. We'll show them the big three, so we'll impress you with our coach and our superstars, then we'll take you to a strip joint, get you full of p**s and pay for lap dances all night... mate I'm signing 10-year deals.

"That's how they recruit down here (in Melbourne), that's why they're the best."

Gold.

Absolute gold.
