If there's one person you want to avoid p***ing off, it's probably Tom Brady.
The legendary quarterback collected his seventh championship ring as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dethroned the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 55.
With a chance at making history on the line, the 43-year-old would have undoubtedly been fired up heading into the game.

And in the second quarter, it appeared he well and truly kicked into gear thanks to one of his rivals.
Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu quickly came to realise that butting heads (quite literally) with Brady was probably a wrong move.
And now he's been accused of "throwing gas on the fire" after their heated exchange lit a fire deep inside Brady which ultimately saw the veteran quarterback take the game by the scruff of the neck.
The fiery incident occurred late in the second quarter when Brady threw a touchdown pass to Antonio Brown to extend the Bucs' lead.

Clearly fuming that he'd let Brown coast in for an easy touchdown, Mathieu tracked down Brady during the celebrations and unloaded on him with some fierce trash-talk.
Whether this was to give his team some sort of mental boost by showing a bit of fight, who knows?
But one thing is for certain, and it's that it backfired massively.
Instead of copping the barrage of abuse, Brady shouted straight back and locked horns with his rival as his teammates jumped to his defence.

The pair were eventually separated after their war-of-words, but it was definitely Brady who came out on top despite Mathieu initiating it.
"Tyrann Mathieu had words for Tom Brady and Tom Brady did not like it," the commentator said.
"He ran 10 yards after Tyrann Mathieu. I get it, Mathieu's... had the penalty, and then he gets beat for the touchdown.
"Kansas City have lost their poise, they've lost their cool with errors and penalties, and now their leader on defence is yelling at Tom Brady?"

The exchange clearly ignited Brady just before half time.
And when the two teams emerged for the second half, you could tell that the exchange really kicked him into another gear.
"That right there, from Tyrann Mathieu, that was the biggest mistake the Chiefs made in this first half," the play-caller added.
"You do not do that to Tom Brady, all you're doing is throwing gas on the fire."

Giving Brady extra motivation to win is never a good idea and he made the Chiefs pay for it.
If you're going to target an opposition player at least go after someone who is renowned for folding under pressure, not a bloke who's running out of room on his hands for Super Bowl rings.
