Brandon Royval is tough.

Very tough.

And one incident that occurred over the weekend proves it.

Royval was in agony when the referee finally waved off the fight.

The promising UFC flyweight had his shoulder popped back into place by his trainer while they were still in the cage at UFC 255.

Royval had just lost to Brandon Moreno via stoppage when his cornerman tugged on his right arm in an effort to put his dislocated shoulder back in place.

And with one simple pull and twist, the shoulder slipped straight back into its socket effortlessly.

Well, sort of.

After it had gone back in, Royval screamed out in pain and immediately gave his trainer a big hug.

The injury happened during a scramble on the canvas as Royval and Moreno jostled for position in their flyweight bout.

Moreno cleverly managed to pin Royval's arm down and went to town with multiple hammer fists.

Royval desperately tried to avoid the massive blows but couldn't escape Moreno's grasp which left the referee no choice but to intervene.

And as Moreno wheeled away in celebration, the true extent of Royval's injury was revealed as the 28-year-old winced in pain while the referee attended to his damaged arm.

Clearly knowing exactly what had happened, Royval quickly briefed his trainer before the two worked together to get the shoulder back in place.

Once it was back to normal, Royval congratulated his opponent and returned to the centre of the octagon where Moreno had his hand raised by the referee.

It's understood the winner of this fight would go on to face Deiveson Figueiredo for the flyweight title.

And according to multiple reports, Figueiredo and Moreno have already verbally agreed to go toe-to-toe in December in what's shaping up to be a huge fight for the division.
