A severe weather warning across Florida is threatening to halt the boxing bout between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul.

Pretty heavy rain in Miami has already left the Hard Rock Stadium canvas soaking as the undercard of the highly-anticipated event gets underway.

Event staff were on their hands and knees drying the canvas with towels in between rounds during the Hurd and Arias bout.

And as cameras panned out across the arena, you can see just how torrential the rain is.

The entire crowd watching the undercards even cleared out the stadium to avoid being drenched.

People took to social media to share their concerns, one bloke tweeting: "They got Boxers fighting in the rain, this sport is cooked."

While another added: "They not feeling this rain. Folks keep coming and leaving."

It remains to be seen whether the main event between Logan and Floyd will go ahead, but some element of panic has certainly set in among officials ringside.

More to come!
