Jake Paul Calls Out Tommy Fury's Dad John To A Fight

Just remember, Big John is 57 years of age...

Jake Paul isn't done with the Fury clan.

No no no, he's not offering former Love Island star Tommy another fight, but has instead turned his attention to another member of the family.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul has made no secret of the fact that he's angling for a bout with current world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, but it seems he has also got his sights set on Tommy and Tyson's dad too.

That's right, Paul has registered his interest in taking on John and admits he'd throw down with the former bareknuckle boxer before he ever steps foot inside a ring with Tommy.

Just remember, Big John is 57 years old.

"He wants the payday," Paul told Volume Sports.

"But I said it before, I don't wanna take the fight with him, he doesn't deserve it. I'd rather fight Tyson Fury.

"I'll fight his brother or his dad before I'll fight Tommy."

It appears Paul still hasn't forgiven Tommy for withdrawing from their highly-anticipated grudge match on seriously late notice, so much so that he's no longer interested in settling their differences.

But Paul's lack on intrigue doesn't seem to be deterring Tommy, who is still adamant they'll lock horns someday.

"The fact of the matter is there's unfinished business here and this fight needs to take place, because how can he be serious about fighting if he's never fought a boxer before?" Tommy said.

"How can he be serious about this? He keeps referring to the UFC.

"If he wants to go and fight in the UFC, don't put on a pair of boxing gloves again and go and fight in the UFC. Don't call yourself a boxer if you've never ever fought one.

"Make no mistake, that's the fight I want next and I'll always be checking in with my team every single day to see where we're up to with that.

"But there comes a time where I have my own career. My goal still isn't changed.

"My goal is to be a champion in this sport. And believe it or not, fighting Jake Paul, it doesn't give me that at all. Fighting Jake Paul will never make me a champion in boxing.

"So Jake Paul, yes, it's a great fight. It's a big fight. But it doesn't really make me achieve my dreams."

Paul hasn't given any indication of what his next move is, although he did recently grab the attention of some mixed martial arts fans when he posted a video of him on his Instagram throwing leg kicks during training.

Don't expect UFC president Dana White to be dishing out contracts anytime soon though, the duo are in the midst of heated feud which doesn't look like ending anytime soon.
