Fans Left Bitterly Disappointed After Logan Paul And KSI 'Announcement' Isn't About A Trilogy

Fans immediately jumped to conclusions and assumed a third boxing match was in the works. Oh, how wrong we were!

Well, that wasn't exactly what we were expecting.

When long-time rivals Logan Paul and KSI revealed that they had an important "announcement" to make, fans immediately jumped to conclusions and assumed a third boxing match was in the works.

Oh, how wrong we were.

Instead, the YouTubers-turned-boxers announced that they would be joining forces to launch a new sports drink.

Paul and KSI decided to make the big announcement on Instagram Live, with over half-a-million people attending at one point.

But while many expected them to trade barbs and exchange insults in a press conference-style call, they revealed that a trilogy wasn't going to happen and that they were now business partners instead.

At one point in the video call, Paul joined KSI in the same room to showcase the new product.

"We have created our own drinks company," KSI said.

To which Logan added: "Ladies and gentlemen, PRIME Hydration! We are officially business partners, we are no longer rivals."

I mean, congratulations to the former foes.

But for sports fans who were keen to see the two finally settle their differences inside the ring, they'll probably be left slightly disappointed.

One person commented on their IG Live video: "Is that it? I expected so much more."

While another added: "All that hype for nothing..."

As one bloke concluded: "KSI and Logan Paul created all that hype for a f**king energy drink?!"

Granted, these two ain't exactly Canelo Alvarez or the Tyson Fury, but judging by the reactions from fans, people were clearly keen to see them scrap for a third and final time.

It's hard to argue that Logan Paul and KSI didn't put "YouTube boxing" on the map.

With so much hype around both their fights in 2018 and 2019, the duo ended up selling millions of pay-per-views and made a truck load of cash for themselves in the process.

It was British YouTuber KSI who ultimately came out on top, winning their highly-anticipated rematch after the first fight ended a draw.

But it's Paul who has arguably gone onto do more in the boxing world compared to his former nemesis, somehow managing to blag himself a bout against one of the greatest boxers to ever grace the planet in Floyd Mayweather.

And after declaring themselves as business partners in their new sports drink company, it seems that trilogy won't be happening anytime soon - sorry, YouTube boxing fans.
