Arsenal Dealt Blow As Starlet Agrees Chelsea Move

Arsenal academy winger Omari Hutchinson has reportedly agreed a deal with Chelsea in what is a blow for Arsenal.

Arsenal youngster Omari Hutchinson is to leave the club during the summer transfer window.

With a decision that will upset Arsenal fans, the 18-year-old is making the move across the capital to join London rivals, Chelsea.

As first reported by The Secret Scout, Hutchinson will move to the blue side of London to link up with their under-23 side ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Hutchinson had been a fan favourite amongst many Gunners fans for a long time.

He has been a well known-name amongst keen Arsenal fans for a long time, with clips of the youngster circulating around social media and going viral for years, even whilst he was in the under-12s!

As a result, fans have been left purring for Hutchinson to feature for the Arsenal first-team.

However, with his move away now looking imminent, this is unfortunately not going to happen anytime soon.

The talented attacker was a key player for the Arsenal u23s last season.

He continued to impress Arsenal fans with his performances — particularly with his showing against new club Chelsea.

His jinking runs and left-footed finishes had become a trademark of his game, almost reminiscent of fellow Hale End product, Bukayo Saka.

However, the go-to-guy for all things Arsenal youth, Jeorge Bird, can understand Hutchinson’s desire to seek a move away from the Gunners.

Bird said on Twitter:

“Hutchinson had ten senior callups last season and didn’t get a single minute so it’s understandable if he is frustrated”

Bird highlighted last season’s game against Burnley as an opportunity for Hutchinson to make his first-team debut.

In a 0-0 draw at home to the now-relegated club, Mikel Arteta only sought to use one substitution, whilst leaving Hutchinson’s attacking creativity on the bench.

Arsenal fans will be disappointed with Hutchinson’s move but will be hoping that there are plenty of youngsters who can fill his place.

Marcelo Flores remains at the club, with new signing Marquinhos also being brought in on the right-wing.

While this is a frustrating development for Arsenal fans, Hale End is not short of talent and another will take Hutchinson's place.
