The Premier League is back this weekend and Betway have unveiled a list of special bets inspired by Deadline Day dealings, failing clubs and... gloves.
The bookies are offering odds of 7/1 about Paul Pogba wearing gloves when United travel to Stoke this weekend, following on from the Frenchman's form when it comes to keeping his hands warm in not-too-chilly conditions. United are yet to drop a point at it's 10/3 they keep that run going through September while it's 25/1 they go into October having not conceded a single goal.
At the other end of the table, Betway are also betting on which of the sides yet to pick up a point will notch their first win and it's West Ham who are favoured in that market at 2/7. Talking of sides in trouble, Arsenal are also just 16/1 to slip into the bottom three this weekend.
One player certain to be the subject of attention is Liverpool's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and the bookies have priced up a series of specials based on his performance. It's 8/13 he fails to register a shot on target while he's 11/2 to assist a goal and 14/1 to be the man of the match on debut.
Betway's Alan Alger, said: "While September temperatures aren't normally low enough to see most players reach for the gloves, an evening game in Stoke has the potential to be a bit nippy. Pogba took some criticism when opting for the gloves in mild conditions last season and he can be backed at 7/1 to wear them again during Saturday's 5.30pm kick-off.
"Manchester United could be heading back to their dominating best and are quoted at 10/3 to win all of their four September affairs."
