Egypt manager Javier Aguirre has urged Mohamed Salah to leave Liverpool if they keep failing to win silverware.

Liverpool lost the Champions League final as Salah was subbed off with an injury following a collision with Sergio Ramos, while the Reds also failed to win any of the domestic competitions.

However, Salah smashed goalscoring recording as he netted 44 goals in all competitions last season.

The Anfield side haven't won a game trophy since the League Cup in 2012 and Aguirre has urged Salah to leave the club if he wants to win major titles.

"It may be better for him to leave within a season or two if Liverpool doesn't win any titles," said the Egyptian boss.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are currently unbeaten in the Premier League and only trail leaders Manchester City by two points, with Salah bagging eight times so far this season.

However, they face the prospect of crashing out of the Champions League after an embarrassing 2-0 defeat to Red Star Belgrade, they have two tough games left (PSG away and Napoli at home) to try and progress to the knockout stages.

Jurgen Klopp's men are back in Premier League action tomorrow as they travel to Watford and 1/2 says they win the match, while Salah is 10/3 to open the scoring at Vicarage Road.
