Here's How The State Of Origin Sides Would Line Up After Round 2

If the State Of Origin teams were selected based on round two performances, this is how the two sides would square off.

It is never too early to start talking about Origin. And I just cannot wait until June 8th for the first game to kick off.

Because I am so impatient, I have decided to put my selector's hat on each week and create a New South Wales and Queensland side from the talent displayed during the last round of footy.

Every Wednesday, I will form two teams from the weekend that was, based exclusively on the performances from the round. No one will be getting picked on reputation, so expect to see a few surprises and some big names missing!

Ok, here are my Origin teams if they were to be picked only from what we saw in round two -

New South Wales

1. Ryan Papenhuyzen (Storm)

2. Daniel Tupou (Roosters)

3. Zac Lomax (Dragons)

4. Bradman Best (Knights)

5. Josh Addo-Carr (Bulldogs)

6. Jarome Luai (Panthers)

7. Luke Keary (Roosters)

8. Mark Nicholls (Rabbitohs)

9. Reece Robson (Cowboys)

10.Payne Haas (Broncos)

11.Tyson Frizell (Knights)

12.Teig Wilton (Sharks)

13.Isaah Yeo (Panthers)

Queensland

1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (Cowboys)

2. Kyle Feldt (Cowboys)

3. Dane Gagai (Knights)

4. Valentine Holmes (Cowboys)

5. Xavier Coates (Broncos)

6. Jake Clifford (Knights)

7. Ben Hunt (Dragons)

8. Francis Molo (Dragons)

9. Harry Grant (Storm)

10.Coen Hess (Cowboys)

11.Felise Kaufusi (Storm)

12.Beau Fermor (Titans)

13.Tino Fa'asuamaleaui (Titans)

What do you think? Who would you have put in?
