Footage of Chinese Olympic sensation's Quan Hongchan's insane 'no splash' dive at a previous event has emerged online.

Quan is something of a revelation in diving, having won Olympic gold in Tokyo back in 2021 when she was just 14 years of age.

Three years on, at the age of 17, and she has collected another two golds in Paris after continuing her fine form.

She won the Women's Synchronised 10m platform alongside teammate Chen Yuxi and then followed that up with a mesmerising gold triumph in the Women's 10m platform.

Quan racked up a flawless score of 425.60 after being rated 10 by all of the judges.

Chen picked up a silver and Kim Mi Rae of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea went home with a bronze.

Quan has proved to be in a league of their own and one of her very best showings at the Diving World Cup has resurfaced.

When she was 16, she got a total score of 367.00 from all the judges after a near-perfect performance.

In the final round of five on the 10m platform, she did three 'back three-and-a-half somersaults tuck' and dropped into the water with barely a splash.

Spectators in attendance in Montreal were utterly astonished by the dive, which has since been shared again online with some fine fan footage.

And viewers online are in agreement that Quan's work needs studying.

One wrote: "Her ability is completely in another level. Most of the time, her lowest score is higher than most other athletes’ highest scores, which is insane…."

A second said: "Imagine being so flawless, you barely affect the water."

A third wrote: "I’ve not stopped thinking about this dive!"

Another user joked: I splash more in the washroom goddamn."

A final person fumed: "The person who gave her a 9.5 needs to never judge again."
