The world’s highest paid athletes under 26 years old have been revealed

Some big names within the list.

The world’s highest paid young athletes have been revealed, with big names across different sports making it onto the list. 

The list was compiled by Forbes, who worked out the best paid athletes aged 26 or under from May 2021 and May 2022. 

7th - Jake Paul 

Starting the list of at seventh place is YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul.

The American social media sensation has been making headlines and huge amount of cash since he announced himself in the world of boxing. 

Over the last year, Paul has racked up a huge £26.2 million from his boxing, whilst also making £7 million outside the ring. 

6th - Devin Booker

Booker is the only representative from the world of basketball, the NBA star has been making a nice amount of money whilst playing for Phoenix Suns. 

The Suns star helped his side make their first NBA Finals for the first time since 1993. 

Booker has made around £28 million on the court whilst also pulling in £7 million thanks to deals with Nike and Corona Beer.

5th - Marshon Lattimore 

NFL star Lattimore has seen his stocks rise ever since he burst onto the scene back in 2017. 

Lattimore earned a new contract at New Orleans Saints which is reportedly worth £85.5 million.

This year, Lattimore has made a total of £36 million, with the majority coming from his contract with the Saints. 

4th - Kylian Mbappe 

Paris Saint Germain darling Mbappe is one of the most talked about players in recent times. 

The Frenchman shocked the world of football to the core when he made a sensational u turn to sign an extension with the Ligue 1 club instead of joining Real Madrid. 

With his new deal comes huge wages. He is now taking home around £24.5 million in on field earnings, whilst his deals off the pitch sees him make £13 million. 

3rd - Max Verstappen 

The Dutch driver won his maiden Formula One title last year under the most dramatic of circumstances when he pipped Lewis Hamilton to the trophy on the last lap. 

Verstappen has made £40 million from F1 alone, with another £17 million coming in thanks to his various endorsement deals. 

The 24-year-old is well on course to win another title this year, which will surely see his earnings soar even higher. 

2nd - Naomi Osaka

Despite her recent struggles on the tennis court, Osaka remains one of the highest paid players in the sport. 

Whilst her earnings from tennis is only believed to be around the one million mark, her endorsement deals are worth a huge amount. 

With deals with the likes of Nike, Louis Vuitton and Mastercard, Osaka has made £50.7 million over the last year. 

1st - Josh Allen

Allen tops the list and is also the second representative from the NFL. 

To those who don’t follow American sports, Allen might not be the most well known of names, but he has been the highest paid young athlete of the last year. 

Allen made £55 million after signing a new deal. Off the pitch, he is made around £3.5 million due to his deals with the likes of Pepsi and Nike.
