LeBron James reacted to Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 US presidency race by posting a number of jabs at Donald Trump.

Saturday saw Biden take the key state of Pennsylvania and pass the 270 Electoral College votes needed to remove Trump from the White House.

It's a victory celebrated by many Americans, including LA Lakers forward LeBron.

He posted an image of Biden superimposed onto his body, with Trump's on Golden State Warriors' Andre Iguodala.

The image is from the 2016 NBA Championship finals, which saw the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the 'Dubs'.

LeBron played for the Cavs at the time and his block on Iguodala helped secure finals victory and is widely regarded as one of the 35-year-old's most iconic moments.

More tweets would follow, including the "You're fired" catchphrase made popular by Trump during his time as host of 'Celebrity Apprentice.'

LeBron's feud with Trump has raged on for years, with 'King James' calling WWE Hall of Famer Trump a 'bum' when sworn into office back in 2017.

And it reached a boiling point last week when the current president had 'LeBron James sucks' chants at a rally.

Speaking in Avoca, Pennsylvania on the eve of the election, the 74-year-old chose to highlight the NBA's poor television numbers during the Finals.

"How about basketball?" Trump boasted to his crowd of fans.

"How about LeBron? I felt badly for LeBron, very badly. Down 71% and that's with the championship. I didn't watch one shot. I get bored. Back, forth, back, forth. You know why? When they don't respect our country, when they don't respect our flag, nobody wants to watch."

But he still wasn't done and supporters in attendance started to chant "LeBron James sucks" much to Trump's delight.
