Audio emerges of Hasbulla shouting tactics during a fight at UFC 280

Viewers watching from home could hear a rather high-pitched voice yelling words of encouragement from the crowd.

MMA fans are convinced they heard Hasbulla Magomedov yelling at the top of his lungs during the live broadcast of UFC 280.

The social media megastar was in attendance in Abu Dhabi, on hand to support his good friend and fellow countryman Islam Makhachev in his lightweight title bout.

Sitting cageside for the event, octagon microphones seemingly picked up the internet sensation getting very animated at one point.

During the first round of the undercard fight between Muhammad Mokaev and Malcolm Gordon, a rather high-pitched voice could be heard barking instructions and words of encouragement from his seat.

Turns out it was Hasbulla.

Viewers watching from home weren't entirely sure whether it was him or not, though, so they decided to take to social media to find out.

Twitter user TheArtOfWar6 posted the footage online, asking: "Was that Hasbulla?"

To which one person replied: "I knew I wasn’t the only one that heard that."

Meanwhile, one guy added: "How could you not love that sweet voice."

As another chimed in, saying: "Who else would it be?"

Fresh off the back of signing with the UFC, Hasbulla was the talk of the town in Abu Dhabi.

Whether it was starting beef backstage with his fellow fighters or having his name chanted by the spectators inside Etihad Arena, the Russian is clearly a favourite among fans.

Now his friendship with UFC president Dana White, as well as his fighting ability (of course) have landed him a dream contract with the MMA promotion.

The Dagestan native recently tweeted: "The rumours are true. I have officially signed a deal to fight in the UFC!

"Details will be revealed by the end of the year. Thank you to my team for making this dream a reality."

Questioned if the reports regarding Hasbulla are accurate, White told Robbie Fox: "Yes, we did sign Hasbulla. What he's going to end up doing remains to be seen."

White was then asked if former dual-division champion Conor McGregor reached out following the deal, to which he responded: "No! He shouldn't f**k around because he will get his ass whooped if he runs into him on the streets."
