Whatever helps you win.

Footballers are a strange bunch. Whilst they're talented and put in a lot of hard work to become the players that they are it seems they can't help but rely on stupid superstitions. Even John Terry isn't exempt from the nonsense.

Some players simply put on their kit starting with a specific side of their body every time whilst others take it further and get all their team mates to kiss their lucky egg.

John Terry revealed a strange superstition that he and Frank Lampard started at Chelsea but goes on today through the likes of Fabregas and Azpilicueta whilst Terry is still the ring leader. It centres around one urinal in the Stamford Bridge dressing room that all the players pee in.

"I am very superstitious and, for me, if we win a game then I add it on to my next superstition.

"Last season, as you can imagine, it built up to quite a lot.

"Me and Frank started it a long time ago; in the Chelsea dressing room we have three urinals and me and Lamps started weeing in one.

"We won the game and, for me, that was it, the next week there was a queue of me, Frank and Ash."

"And even now, up until today, you have Cesar Azpilicueta and Cesc Fabregas, we are all there in one big queue.

"A few months ago the club secretary said to me: 'we have had a few calls from the FA complaining because we have been going out late' and I didn't have the heart to tell him it was because we were all waiting to go for a wee.

He probably couldn't tell the FA what was really going on as they'd just think he was taking the piss!

We can't work out if this means they change their toilet of choice every time they lose or what exactly goes on but it's all a little weird if you ask us.
