PSG Willing To Offer Barcelona Three Players To Land Neymar

PSG Willing To Offer Barcelona Three Players To Land Neymar

One would be an excellent addition at the Nou Camp.

PSG have been given the green light by UEFA that they will not be breaking Financial Fair Play rules to land Neymar, but fresh reports suggest the French giants do not want to pay the full fee to Barcelona, and are so open to the possibility of a cash-plus-player deal.

Neymar's release clause stands at a staggering €222 million (£196 million) and a report from Moises Llorens in AS says that the Ligue One side will have to fork out a further €70 million euros in taxes - something they aren't overly keen on doing.

Thus, it's noted that PSG are willing to offer one or more players to on top of the money they will pay to Barcelona in order to bring Neymar to the Parc Des Princes.

Brazilian Lucas Moura, as well as France international Blaise Matuidi, who has been heavily linked, are two of the names that have cropped up, but the third is undoubtedly the biggest and is the sort of player that might actually prompt the Blaugrana into selling their Brazilian superstar.

As per the report, there was once a clause that prevented Angel di Maria from signing for Barcelona after the former Real Madrid man moved to PSG for a fee of £44 million in 2015.

However, that has since expired and now it's very much a possibility that di Maria returns to La Liga in shocking fashion - with PSG "open to trading" him in order to get Neymar.

A move to the Camp Nou would not exactly make him popular. Manchester United fans still very much dislike him for his perceived snakey attitude towards the club and demand for a move away just one year on from signing.

Real Madrid fans would surely turn on their former player, who was unplayable in their 2013/14 La Decima for moving to their fierce rivals, while PSG fans probably wouldn't be too happy for him to move on to a Champions League rival, and the team who embarrassed them, either.

As for Neymar, he continues to dominate headlines - the latest story being that he was involved in a furious training ground bust-up with teammate that led him to storming out of training.

According to the Daily Mail, the Brazilian forward scored during a training match before becoming tangled up in a challenge with Semedo, which promptly led to the pair squaring up to each other.

While the belief by some members of the Barcelona camp is that they are still holding firm on the Neymar front, RMC say that it's looking increasingly likely that Neymar will be PSG-bound imminently.

This one's going to be keeping dragging on isn't it?
