Mohamed Salah has responded to transfer rumours linking him with a sensational move to Real Madrid.

'The Egyptian King' returned to the Premier League in the summer, and is producing brilliance on a regular basis for Liverpool.

He's already weighed in with a stunning 21 league goals from just 25 games, while netting 28 goals in all competitions including heroics in the Champions League.

Following his blistering form this season, he's been linked with a move away from Anfield.

Real Madrid have reportedly expressed an interest in signing him with Zinedine Zidane admiring his talents.

But Salah is determined to maintain focus ahead of the second half of the season.

"At the moment I am here," Salah told Marca via Goal. "I want to concentrate on my team and finish the season very well.

The Spanish outlet pressed the Real Madrid issue with Salah responding.

"Why do you think they say these things? I don't have much to say about that. If I have to say something, I'll say I'm happy at Liverpool," he added.

Does Salah follow La Liga?

"Yes, I follow it, I see some games. Not always, because sometimes they coincide with Liverpool fixtures, of course.

"It's a good league, has top teams, and the way they play is very attractive," Salah added about the Spanish top flight.

Only one player in the Premier League has netted more goals than Salah.

And he's sounded off on Spurs' lethal frontman: "He is a great player, in the last two years he has already been the top scorer. Kane plays as a No.9 and has more chances to score goals than me.

"In my mind I want to win it, but we will see what happens.

"Now I want to be in a good position in the Premier League and help my international team to pass the first phase in the World Cup in Russia. Those are my goals for now, then we'll see.
