With numerous big names making the switch to the Chinese Super League this year, it becomes less and less surprising when a major star is reported to be interested in trading competitive European football for earning the debt of a third world country in the Far East.
Andres Iniesta, however, will not be joining Jackson Martinez, Ramires, Paulinho, Alex Teixeira and Gervinho in China, as the Barcelona legend has turned down a move to an unnamed club from the Orient.
The 32-year-old intends to see out his career at the Camp Nou, where he has a contract that runs until 2018. As reported by Mundo Deportivo an unnamed Barca source said, "Iniesta is an icon and is not moving from here. He has a contract until 2018 and there is nothing to talk about with any club."

Iniesta claimed his eighth La Liga title on Saturday as Barca pipped Real Madrid to the championship on the final game of the season. He adds the triumph to four Champions League titles, two European Championships and a World Cup in what has been a remarkable career.
