Who would have thought that Arsenal fans would have the chance to be so happy less than 24 hours after losing to Swansea. Following on from the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang it looks like they've now signed Mesut Ozil to a new deal.
In a January where they've been knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round for the first time in Arsene Wenger's long reign, lost to the bottom club in the Premier League, lost their best player in Alexis Sanchez and a fan favourite in Theo Walcott it's actually been a good month for Arsenal.
Arsenal accidentally announced the signing of Aubameyang before it happened:
The Gunners have signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as pretty decent replacements for the two that have left, made it to the Carabao Cup final and have now signed Mesut Ozil to a new contract.

Like Sanchez before him the German's deal was due to finish at the end of the season and having failed to negotiate a new deal last year it was thought he'd be leaving on a free in the summer, potentially joining the Chilean at Manchester United.
That though won't be the case:
And Arsenal fans were loving the news:
It's certainly a rollercoaster of emotions at the Emirates!
