Mario Balotelli's Agent Hints Where His Next Move Could Be

The Italian striker is out of contract in France at the end of the season.

Mario Balotelli is a favourite of ours at SPORTbible towers because he's always good for a headline but the Italian striker has been quiet recently. His agents latest claim means we could be about to see Mario back on a bigger stage.

From fireworks in the bathroom to fireworks on the pitch there isn't many occasions that Mario Balotelli can't light up. His 'why always me' t-shirt will forever be remembered.

In recent years Balo has been a bit quieter. After his time at Liverpool was a bust and his return to AC Milan didn't go too much better he went off to Ligue 1 to play for Nice.

Check out our video on some of Mario's maddest moments:

Of course he's still been able to mix a penchant for goalscoring with a tradition of getting sent off. This season he's only seen red once but has bagged 14 league goals with another six coming in the Europa League.

In that form he'll be a top signing for anyone when his contract runs out in the summer and agent Mino Raiola has hinted where his client could end up whilst also claiming he's worth €100 million. The Mirror report that Raiola said:

"Mario is ready to return, he has matured into one of the top 10 strikers in the world.

"In Italy he's number one. He's worth €100 million (£88m), but he's on a free transfer and is therefore a bargain.

"I'm negotiating with many clubs in England and in Italy. I've spoken with Juventus, Roma, Napoli and Inter."

There has been calls for Balotelli to return to the Italy squad and it's actually hard to argue that the 27 year-old is one of his country's best striker right now, Andrea Belotti has only grabbed six Serie A goals this season although Ciro Immobile has got 26.

Plenty of people wanted him to be in Italy's squad to face England in the recently friendly and Immobile missing a couple of chances will do nothing to quieten those talks next time Italy have a game, although they won't be at the World Cup.

The thought of Balotelli back in the Premier League can only delight and whilst it didn't go according to plan at Anfield there's no doubt on his current form he would improve three quarters of the teams in England's top tier right now.

We look forward to finding out where Mario ends up.
