A few players from the Manchester United squad have been subject to interest from the money-rich Chinese Super League sides, and it appears a certain member of Jose Mourinho's side could be keen on a move to the Far East.

The future of Wayne Rooney's career remains rampant with a move to China reportedly on the cards. Rooney has failed to break into Mourinho's side as he's nearing the Old Trafford exit.

And Rooney's teammate Marouane Fellaini has now sparked rumours regarding a transfer to China by refusing to rule out a potential deal.

The Belgium powerhouse has become an important player for United this season who's helped his side bag two major silverware this season with the League Cup and most recently the Europa League.

But when asked about the proposition of playing alongside his international compatriot, Axel Witsel, Fellaini gave an interesting response.

"China? Why not?" Fellaini told VTM News via 101 Great Goals.

Witsel swapped Europe for Asia by penning a mega three-year-contract with Tianjin Quanjian reportedly worth a massive £16 million a year.

While he's still a United player, Fellaini refuses to rule out a switch to China in the future.

"I'm now Manchester United player, but I do not rule out such a transfer in the future."

The 29-year-old has divided opinion since moving to United from Everton in 2014 under the David Moyes regime.

Moyes drafted in his former player for £27.5 million and he's often experienced a hostile reception from his own fans. But Mourinho has stuck by him while even handing in a new one-year contract in January.

Though with Mourinho expected to heavily reinforce his side in pre-season, is Fellaini's days at United numbered?
