Liverpool are set to go head-to-head with Real Madrid for the signature of Kylian Mbappe, with the Reds readying a bid of £215 million, according to a report in Spain.
Rumours that Jurgen Klopp's side would add Mbappe to their team next summer started last month with fans thinking their new link up with Nike will help them sign the Frenchman.
Now Spanish outlet Eldesmarque report that the Premier League leaders are readying a huge £215 million bid for Mbappe and that will put them in direct competition with Real.
The report claims that Liverpool's lack of signings before the 2019/20 season started will put them in a great position to be able to afford what would be a world record transfer fee.

As well as the huge transfer fee it report also claims that Liverpool would be offering an 'astronomical' £34 million-a-year for the 21-year-old, that would certainly be one way of keeping him out of Real's clutches.
Should they miss out on the former Monaco forward then there is something that would lift the move at the Bernabeu.
Eldesmarque also claim that should Liverpool be able to sign Mbappe then they would need to make room for him and that would mean selling Mo Salah.
If that were the case then Los Blancos would make the Egyptian their target, which would make for an interesting moment when he meets club captain Sergio Ramos.
The original rumour about Mbappe moving to Anfield had come about with Liverpool winning a court hearing against current shirt manufacturer New Balance.

The Anfield club's initial deal with the American company expires at the end of this season and they are now expected to sign with Nike.
With Nike's big money and links the likes of LeBron James and Drake fans expected that the club would make a big name signing with the #Mbappe2020 hashtag trending on Twitter amongst fans.
Right now Klopp has more pressing issues that a huge summer signing as he and his team get ready for Sunday and the visit of Manchester City to Anfield.

With the Reds currently six points clear of their title rivals it's a must not lose game for Pep Guardiola's team and plenty will be questioning if the champions can claw back such a big deficit if they lose.
